Hi there, after my SCLAE went for a couple of weeks without any hick ups, it now frequently disconnects the NIC (Intel X550) , I am not fully sure, but I could be caused by the latest update.... var/log/messages gives the following

Unfortunately thats not the only problem, NIC also sometimes decides to go down to 100 Mbit speeds... I tried using a cron job and setting speeds manually to 10 Gbit with ethtool, but this made things worse...

Any ideas?

That looks like a hardware issue to me. Check / replace the cabling and check the port its plugged into on the other end

To my great surprise it was indeed the (quite expensive) cabling. Wouldnt have suspected these little boys.... Thanks for the help

The server didnt move, nothing to my knowledge bumped it... and yet this was the issue for me as well... somewhere in-between enraged and relieved... thanks for reminding me of what I should have checked first.
