I get really confused now. I tried to mount an nfs share to my linux machine. What I did:

  • I added a user and group in freenas with the same uid/gid as on my linux machine (BackupUserOliver, users)
  • I created a Dataset with the owner=BackupUserOliver ownergroup=users, apply owner and apply group is checked
  • I created a share pointing to the Dataset
  • I mounted it with 192.168.178.33:/mnt/ZFSPOOL/Backup/NFS_Backup /mnt/freenas/NFS_Share/ nfs4 noauto,rw 0 0
The mountpoint is now set to user=nobody (what the F*CK) and group=nobody
I even can´t change this with root user.

Im really angry, I just want a share that has the permissions I wan´t it to have.
I can´t get it working with samba and not with nfs. What the .....

Just getting a share where everyone can write in is easy. But thats not what I need. I read through a lot of documentation but I don´t get it.

Perhaps someone can help me.

Sounds like you've set the mount all and mount root fields for the NFS share to nobody/nobody. Post a screenshot of your NFS share.
