NFS and U-boot

I want to report that FreeNAS NFS shares cannot be used for NFS booting with U-boot bootloader devices (AVR, STBs..) Tested with CentOS NFS, Ubuntu and there is no problem. Please check

Developers never come here. If you want the problem resolved you should go to bugs.freenas.org and put a ticket in. ;)

it would be a good idea to include the FreeNAS version and your hardware when putting in the ticket too.

Could you provide more information? I am personally using ARM SheevaPlug with U-Boot, booting from FreeBSD HEAD TFTP/NFS servers. Haven't compared TFTP, but NFS server is just the same as used in FreeNAS.

I booted with iPXE using tftp with no issues. It is slow, but that is tftp for you.
