Hi All,

For session trunking to work across all network cards with FreeNAS/TrueNAS should we see sessions with the netstat | grep -i "nfs" command?

Thanks,
Joe

so this is what I did and VMware acts like it works:

FreeNAS : 11.2-U8
VMware : ESXi 6.5 update 3 Build 15177306
vCenter: 6.5.0.32000 Build 15259038

NFS Share:
x All Dirs
Maproot User : root
Maproot Group : wheel
security : sys

NFS Service:
x Allow non-root mount
x enable NFSv4

so your saying I can make the nfs4 share and VMware will connect at nfs4.1 but the session trunking will really only run on a single IP address, even if I tell FreeNAS you have two NIC's with two separate VLANs on two separate subnets? I think in the nfs spec session trunking is not mentioned till 4.1
