Good morning/afternoon everyone!
I looked for an answer to this question but couldn't find it anywhere so here I am
.
I have several Nextcloud instances ("official" plugins) and I'm facing difficulties to update/upgrade them.
Indeed, Nextcloud only allows a jump of one major version during update.
But the plugin update (ie when you simply click update), can lead to several major version difference/jump if you don't do it on time.
For example, I have a 12.2-RELEASE-p15 Nextcloud jail using Nextcloud 22.2.3.
Now if I update the jail (ie. press the "update" button on the jail), it will automatically try to update to version 24 (which is not possible for Nextcloud update procedure). I have to roll back using the automatically created snapshot.
How to update to an intermediary jail version to go to major version 23 before goind to major version 24?
Is there a table where to find jail plugin version and Nextcloud versions?
I just found this: https://www.truenas.com/docs/solutions/integrations/nextcloud/
Si I guess I'm not alone in this situation.
Any input is more than welcome.
Thank you!
