I have successfully setup Nextcloud for both internal and external usage though not using https as of yet but that will be for a later post.

The question i have is how do i access the folders where the files are located using a windows file explorer?

You could export a share with samba, but if not mistaken, the owner of the directories/files is your http user, so you would need to open that from your windows box with that user, not the one you are logged in that box.

Do not change permissions on those directories/files or you might break NC access to it.

you see thats my issue, on the file storage tab of jails it always gives the source and destination option.

The issue is te source is my samba share but i have no idea how to access the destination of a jail and export it.
