Nextcloud not showing files from truenas

Hi,
I have setup nextcloud on my truenas core server and i can seem to get any of the files that are on my SMB share onto nextcloud.
Also i want to access this outside my network and when i connect to it outside my house it comes up saying

Access through untrusted domain​

Please contact your administrator. If you are an administrator, edit the "trusted_domains" setting in config/config.php like the example in config.sample.php.


Further information how to configure this can be found in the documentation.
but when i go to look for these files i cant find them anywhere

Depends on how you set up the list of trusted hostnames, IPs, etc in it. In my case, I access everything through a VPN, so I don't care much for setting up a domain to access it externally.

Thanks I got the untrusted domain stuff working but I still cant access the files on my truenas server.

You need to mount the dataset with your files into the Nextcloud jail, then configure this location as external storage in Nextcloud.

Jails > jour jail > Edit > Mounts

No, but you should, because you defined the SMB share you are using, right?

The destination directory can be anything you like inside the jail like "/var/myfiles" or "/var/media" or whatever you want it to be.

yeh, just nothing comes up in my nextcloud account

Did you mount a share like /mnt/yourpoolname/yoursharename to /var/somedirectory inside the jail? What are your real paths instead of my examples?
