New to NAS

Hi, Can someone point me to a thread that gives direction on how to transfer data from an old drive to a NAS? I have an old portable drive that has 1TB of storage I want to copy to my newly created pool. I dont really want to learn everything about NAS, just get the basic functionality out of it and learn the rest as I go. TIA for any feed back.

A thread? Not sure it's that complicated. Attach disk. Go to Storage->Import. As long as it is one of the supported filesystem types, fill in fields and click go.

Thanks, I need to take the time read up on how to use this software. I'm not trying to get too involved in it, just some simple basic functions. Old parts are now going to serve a purpose.
