Hi guys,

I'm the "newbie" ...
I'm completely new with "FreeNAS" (going to build my own now ...),
but I have some experiences with RedHat and Suse based systems which are providing storage via NFS and/or CIFS
and also some skills with NETAPP.

My current server is running since more than 7 years without any problem,
but it is not really energy efficient and the performance could be better ;-)
