New FreeNAS setup...what am I missing?

Hello all!

Finally received all of my parts for my new FreeNAS box (see sig for details). I assembled everything together and am trying to make a list of steps to take for testing/make sure I don't screw anything up. The following is my list of things to do:

1. Test RAM by running Memtest86 (bare minimum 3 passes)
2. HDD burn in using the following guide https://forums.freenas.org/index.php?threads/how-to-hard-drive-burn-in-testing.21451/
3. Setup IPMI to adjust BIOS settings if need be/tune fan speeds for more CFM/setup static IP addresses for server and IPMI
4. Install latest version of Freenas onto the first usb device and boot to it
5. Enable S.M.A.R.T and SSH
6. Setup emailing to my personal email address for S.M.A.R.T info
7. Create vdev (RAIDZ2)
8. Create jails dataset for PLEX
9. Setup PLEX using the following guide https://forums.freenas.org/index.ph...all-plex-in-a-freenas-9-3-jail-updated.19412/
10. Setup CIFS shares
11. Setup mirror for my 2nd usb drive and save config settings

Those are all of the steps that I can think of right now. Is there anything obvious that I am missing that anybody could think of or recommend? This will be my first time setting up FreeNAS and I want to do it right the first time. Thanks in advance for any advice!
