I'm on what seems a never ending quest to get my Windows 10 system to access the TrueNAS Core Share. This post is to request clarification of the Guide instruction for the 'Default Gateway' field in Network Global Configuration.
Is this the IP address of the TrueNAS Server, the LAN router, or the IP address of the Windows client from which I'm trying to establish access to the NAS?

Always refers to the route to the Internet on your local network, so in this case, your LAN router.
Got it, thanks for the response.
I tooled around yesterday with some settings and discovered that the email connection only worked when I set this address to my LAN router.
But thanks again for your input.
