[NEED SOME ADVICE] INSTALLING FREENAS 9.10 from 8.0

Hello Everyone.....

I will install freenas 9.10 replacing my old one, 8.30 version,

but I have some question about that..


1. I'll install freenas 9.10 on the same computer with my old one, with same Harddisk. I've tried install the new one, hoping that it will overwriting the old one. But when I plug my USB and try to booting, the screen suddenly appear error message :

"This is a Freenas data disk and can not boot system. System halted"


What should I do? Should I install it on new computer? What about my harddisk? Can I format that disk and using it again?

Yeap, like @al451 said your PC is trying to boot from one o your data HDs. You need to change the boot order on your PC BIOS.
