Native iSCSI paasthrough (in 9.2.2)

Does anyone know if the new native iSCSI target coming in 9.2.2 will be able to do iSCSI pass-through for tape drives? it is something i miss from very old versions of freenas.

My guess is no since no tape drive drivers exist in FreeNAS.
