So I have installed FreeNAS 8 in a VirtualBox machine and set it up like my real NAS.

After that I created a jail and built mysql55-server port but I can't start it.. running /usr/local/etc/rc.d/mysql-server start will only print "Starting mysql." and then I have to wait for 15 sec and my prompt is back. But mysql is not running and there is no error in /var/db/mysql/TestJail.log.

I installed sudo and executed "sudo -u mysql /usr/local/libexec/mysqld &" and mysql starts just fine no errors there, so why can't I start mysql the normal way?
