I have just purchased a user server. I wanted to make it my new primary TrueNAS due to the space and specs. I was wondering is there away I could pull a backup of all my settings. Jail, Plugins and the settings for all them and migrate them over to the new TrueNAS box or will I have to go through and redo it all from scratch.

Well that could work but the new server already has its drives loaded. What I want to do is to take all the current setting and pluging/jail with TrueNAS move it over to the new one. Leave the old one online why I copy all the data from it’s pool to new server before I place the new server in production and retire the old one. I was thinking of using acronis to backup TrueNAS and restore to the new system. But I read you can’t do that with TureNAS. I didn’t see an option to backup TrueNAS anywhere. I don’t really want swap the TrueNAS drive cause the current has mounts and be a pain to rebuild I was hoping of option of copy all the TrueNAS setting out them on the new system set it’s IP to xxx and copy the data from one to easy

You don't back up TrueNAS; you back up its config file (system -> General -> save config). But that doesn't include the jails; those are stored on your pool.
