Hey folks,

I run my NAS OS on a USB stick that is internal installed.
I have 2 pools. 1 with HDDs and onther one with only one SSD.

I use the SSD Pool for jails and plugins. The SSD pool is only used by like 5%, and will never be higher.
So I have plenty of free space on my fast SSD. So I thougt I should move my OS from the stick to the SSD.

The question is, is it a good idea, and if yes, how can I do it?

Any drive you install the OS cannot be used to store data. You're better off using the USB drive for booting. If you're worried about the lifespan of the USB drive, you could always mirror the boot drive.
