Move Jail from to new hardware

Hello,

I apologize if this has already been asked. I am new to FreeNAS. I have researched this issue to no avail.

I set up a FreeNAS 11.0 on older hardware (nas1) for testing. As part of this install I installed nextcloud and got it configured. I have since spun up a new server (nas2) on better hardware. What is the proceedure for moving the nextcloud jail from nas1 to nas2?

You can use zfs send and zfs recv to move your jail root to your new FreeNAS server.

M0nkey thank you for your response. As i said I am a bit new to the freenas. could you please elaborate on this? I have not found any zfs send or recive buttons in the gui.

...but if you're going between servers, you might be better off just setting up a replication task in the GUI per the manual.
