Hello, here I explain what I would like to do

i have a pc core i7 8700K with just installed freenas and the plex plugin

I also have an HP Proliant in networks with 4 bay HDD under freenas

I would like my freenas with the plex to read the files in the proliant?

extremely limited info. a little hard to understand
(normally I would point out that i7 probably doesnt have ECC, and probably isnt on the recomended hardware lists...but if it's doing plex processing instead of storing data, eh, it's probably not gonna matter much.)

why not run plex on the proliant, which is already running freenas? you tell us nothing about the proliant, so dunno what it can do.
plex can use standard networking. share the files from the proliant and then point plex to the network share (definitely smb, unsure if nfs would work as easily)
can also mount any network filesystem as a local filesystem, but that can be more comlicated than just using plex over the network.
