I have FreeNAS 8.0-RELEASE installed, and I seem to be missing the UPS service that should be listed in the "Services" section of the WebGUI. Honestly, I'm okay with just managing that service via the console, I'm just not sure of a few things:
After some searching it looks like the ups.conf should go in /usr/local/etc/nut/ and that I can start the service with /usr/sbin/service nut restart. I am, however, unclear about what I put in the conf files to configure the UPS.
