Migration to new hardware

Hi all, I am planning to migrate my FreeNAS 9.10 from a HP N40L microserver (not enough grunt!!) to a HP 8200 based system. I have 4 x 4TB WD NAS HDD connected to the N40L and SickRage, Transmission and Plex plugins loaded.

Is it practical to just move the disks and boot USB device across?

That is exactly how I have done all my moves in the past. Just fix the IP address of your NIC after the move.
