Hi,
I have a simple setup
3x8TB spinning drives in RAIDZ1 configuration
I want to replace this setup with SSDs and use the spinny drives purely as backup (I'll spin them up once a month or something to sync with the ssd array)
3x8TB roughly nets me 10TB of usable space, so at a bare minimum I need 10TB worth of SSD space.
Is there a safe way to build this SSD pool without going full hog and buying 3x8 (24) TB worth of drives?
