SOLVED midnight commander and F-keys

Can anyone tell me whther I can transfer F-keys to MC, running in a jail via the terminal window in browser?

In the browser? That's hardly ideal.

It's certainly possible using SSH with a properly configured SSH client.

Found out experimentally that works fine if done from Firefox. Needed to solve the problem with files access in this thread. Have a look if you are a guru. ;-)
