Mail storage

Hello,

At start I have to say that I'm new with FreeNas.
I want to use FreeNas as small storage server with windows permissions. Everything looks and work great.

Is there any chance to make FreeNas also as e-mail address storage?
For example if I'm using Thunderbird or Outlook I want to download all saved e-mail on FreeNas to my book or dynamicly search for them.

You may have to clarify what you're trying to do.

Outlook and Thunderbird can both be configured to store their data files in a different directory, though I don't know that I'd recommend doing that to a network directory.

Why you say "to my book", what do you mean? When you are "dynamically search[ing]", what do you mean? Are you looking for a web GUI? Are you trying to search for them through multiple computers?
