M1015 Issues with Raid unlock chip

I have stock M1015 (LSI SAS 9240-8i) that came with my Lenovo TS440. I have been using Raid 10 for a while but I need to move over to RAID 5 for more room. I have the Raid 5 feature unlock key. When I rebooted it with the key installed it gives me an error message to that it cannot access the iButton to due to a heat issue.

I have found many threads about reflashing this card to 9211 but I do not think it is the solution that I am looking for. My end goal here is just to get access to Raid 5/50. From what I understand, you can reflash this card to stock LSI 9240-8i which as native raid 5/50 options but there are not much information on that since everyone only talks about reflashing this card to a 9211. Any suggestions would be great. thank you.

This really isn't the place for your question.

That said, RAID5 is notoriously sloooooow on entry-level RAID cards like the SAS 9240.
