lsi megaraid 9264-8i passthrough

Hi! Is it possible to achieve passthrough on the lsi megaraid 9264-8i card? Can't find any documentation on flashing this card. I know raid 5/6 works quite good on the 9260 cards, but want to try ZFS.

If I recall correctly, that card is not going to work properly with FreeNAS because it is a hardware RAID card, and cannot be flashed to the IT mode firmware that you need for FreeNAS.
A card that would work for FreeNAS is about $55 on eBay, so you can easily get the right thing.

That should do nicely. I use that model card in my FreeNAS systems.

Just ensure there is enough airflow over the heat-sync because it does get a little warm when under load.
