Hi there,

Actually I'm Using load balancing with a Intel 1000/pro dual Network-interface. It works pretty good with IPv4 and my home-router without a managed switch, but I get this strange message after the booting process.

Apr 26 12:56:40 Server kernel: in6_ifadd: 2002:4d17:aa5d:0:215:17ff:fe8f:fe4e is already configured
Apr 26 12:56:41 Server ntpd[1971]: bind() fd 30, family 28, port 123, scope 0, addr 2002:4d17:aa5d:0:215:17ff:fe8f:fe4e, in6_is_addr_multicast=0 flags=0x11 fails: Can't assign requested address
Apr 26 12:56:41 Server ntpd[1971]: unable to create socket on lagg0 (9) for 2002:4d17:aa5d:0:215:17ff:fe8f:fe4e#123
Apr 26 12:56:42 Server kernel: lagg0: DAD detected duplicate IPv6 address 2002:4d17:aa5d:0:215:17ff:fe8f:fe4e: NS in/out=1/1, NA in=0
Apr 26 12:56:42 Server kernel: lagg0: DAD complete for 2002:4d17:aa5d:0:215:17ff:fe8f:fe4e - duplicate found
Apr 26 12:56:42 Server kernel: lagg0: manual intervention required

What can I do that this massage doesn't exist anymore? How can I fix this IPv6 double Address assignment?

Any Ideas

kind regards, phiku

Is that v6 IP already assigned to another interface? If so, which one? Is it a component in the lagg?
