Hello,

I have received an alert from Freenas telling me that I use too much space (83%).
I have watched my computer (Windows CIFS share and I see that I have 1.5 To from 10.8 To). As I have 6 time 3To HDD (Raiz Z2), I should have more maximum space (arount 12 To if I remember correctly the last month).

I have made tests with zvols and deleted them (I am not sure if it is the problem) while there were snapshots.

Can someone please tell me where are my Gb and how to take them back?
There is no deteted file in the recycle bin and I have deleted all the automatic snapshoits to be sure at 100%
Is it a problem with the zvol that I should nevere have deleted?

Thank you
Marc

Hello,

I have Virtual machines with snapshots (and copies...) on NFS. Before, I had them in ISCSI in a Zvol (a little more than 1 - 1.5 To and I saw the lost space a few days after I removed the ISCSI zvol ). They serve a ESXi6 server.
I have videos, and photos (raw).
I use around 9 To vith the virtual machines. With the calculator you showed me, I should have around 10.5 To useable space. I guess that I didn't pay attention correctly when I san 12To.

Thank for the time you took to help me.
Marc
