Limiting upload speeds to cloudsync

I am trying to limit how much I am uploading to backblaze at a time. It seems as though when it is left unrestricted, it overloads my USG pushing it to 100% utilization during the entire upload and since I am doing the initial backup that is not going to work for ~3 days. I changed the setting in cloudsync and it seemed to stick, but when i woke up this morning I was having the same issues again. I reset them again today and it seems like it is sticking for now.

Has anyone else had similar issues?
