Lenovo TS430

Hi,
I was wondering if someone could shed some light, currently have TS430 which going to turn into a FreeNAS server, which it has 2 disks SAS of 5tb. Now because the server does not have a flashed IT mode card it wont read the disks on ATA mode because the disks are SAS. My question is what LSI flashed IT mode card should i get for this server? For the LSI cards is there always a card that would work on mostly any servers or does each server have to have a specific LSI card?
