LDAP>Samba>SMB share group issue

I currently have an LDAP directory which is showing up correctly using getent passwd and getent group. Under the data set I set the permissions correctly for the Owner and group. This works properly, The issue I have is I want to add a second group under the share. I was trying this within windows using the file permissions/security>edit>advanced> Then trying to find the group to apply the correct permissions. The issue I have is only users show up under this list. No groups. So I am left with setting file permissions manually per user. Again I can "see" all the groups in the permissions for the data set but I cannot set multiple groups within that window. Please help. I want to add a "base group" so that only authenticated users can view the share, and another group would be allowed to write to that share.
