Hi everyone,

When writing multiple files (in one thread) to the FreeNAS server over NFS,RSYNC,SCP or other measures, the file transfer speed is superb, however in between the first files ending, and the starting of the next, there is a 2-3 second pause.

If i transfer a 100MB file, it takes less than 1 second to transfer the file, however the entire filesystem then locks up for about 2-3 seconds. All other threads running towards the ZFS volume are also paused for those seconds.

Both LSI cards are flashed with newest IT firmware, all settings are left as default. Raid is a RAIDZ3 with 12 disks. Has anyone had similar problems before? I'm not sure if i need to start troubleshooting the hardware or software first..

Well, for starters you don't want the newest IT firmware. You want what matches the LSI driver. That means you should be running P16 for FreeNAS 9.2.1.x. Anything else is a bad choice on your part. So I'd start with reflashing your firmware to P16 instead of P19.
