I have a dual GB intel nic on my freenas supermicro server.
It's hooked up to a Cisco SG 300-10 10-Port Gigabit Managed Switch.
On the client side I have a Mabook pro laptop. And an iMac.
The laptop is connected with 1 Gb Port.
The iMac is connected with 1 native 1Gb port and one thunderbolt adapter with another 1Gb port. The iMac is then configured with a virtual interface:
This is what things look like on the switch, The TSW-SUPERSPEED group is the one for the Server, the other one is for the iMac:
The problem is that I'm not getting any speed increase on the iMac. Even worse, when I'm pulling files from the server with both clients I'm getting the speeds as if they were sharing a single 1Gb connection.
Can anyone tell me if I'm missing something?
Here's what the freenas part looks like:
Cheers!
