Kstar UPS - generic driver?

Hi there,

I'm a little fresh to UPS protocols. I have a Kstar UPS (See here: http://www.i-tech.com.au/products/61991_Kstar_BM3080_Line_Interactive_UPS.aspx ) which is connected to my box via USB.

I'm trying to enable the correct driver for the UPS, if there is one. Either that or someone might recognise the UPS, which may be sold under a different brand in the USA.

FreeNAS uses NUT and a list of NUT supported devices can be searched at http://www.networkupstools.org/stable-hcl.html.

For future reference I was able to get my Kstar BM3080 working with FreeNAS with the Sweex 1000 USB (richcomm_usb) driver. I determined the USB port by watching the console as I plugged it in.

There is a more specific driver that I thought would work, which is the SVEN PowerPro + series. The ID's etc match but FreeNAS doesn't see the UPS. So stick with the Sweex 1000 USB for Kstar. :)
