Keypairs and trust

Lets say I have PULL TrueNAS which would be Backup, and Source TrueNAS.

If I generate new Keypair on PULL and use it from PULL to setup SSH connection with Source, and then setup PULL replication from Source, would any part of that setup give Source any means to execute commands on PULL?

It's ok if Backup host has power over Source. Its not ok if Source has power over Backup. How may I fulfil that?

Correct. If you setup the SSH private key on the PULL host, (aka backup host), and install the SSH public key on the Source host, the Source host has NO access to the PULL host.
