kernel is constantly at 100%, not sure why

Hi,
For some reason the kernel is constantly at 100%, not sure, why, there is no scrub running, and not smartctl check:

Any ideas what more I should check?

I'd suggest you supply both TrueNAS family, (Core or SCALE), the version number, and full hardware details.

As an attempt to solve the problem I just now upgraded it to TrueNas(Core) - TrueNAS-12.0-U8.1 (It was FreeNas 11.2 when I opened the ticket).

THe upgrade did reduce it from 100% to 50% sort of

Glad you found it. It is someways annoying certain kernel processes, like a ZFS scrub, don't show up in the process list. If you have seen the following as one of the top I/O or CPU users in "top", or in a process list, you would have had a clue;
zfs-scrub

But, in some cases, having such in "userland" would slow things down dramatically.

a bit offtopic - while scrubbing, one of the drive failed (we are using RAIDZ2), should I let the scrub finish before I replace the drive? or replace is now?
