Hey,
I don't post often but I recently upgraded to 11.3 and can't find any information about this issue. Since upgrading I've actually had to reinstall once which was disturbing as I'd been up and running with each new version of 11 since it was released without issue. I started seeing the error above when I went to add a zvol and can't. This was the first time I've gone in to do anything in the pools menu since upgrading. Any suggestions or help is appreciated. System details below.

I'm running:
FreeNAS-11.3-U1 (upgraded from 11.2-U6) on
SuperMicro X11SSM-F | Intel E3-1240 v6 3.7Ghz | 32GB ECC DDR4 | Boot: Dual PNY 120GB SSD (mirrored) | Pool: 6x4 TB RAIDZ2 WD Red

I just got this same issue after upgrading. I noticed that the SMB permissions were failing (similar to other threads), and then when I opened the ACL permissions in the GUI, I got a notification that they were "complex", I didn't change anything and then BOOM - same error as above.

How did you resolve this?
