Jails SSD optimizations?

I have a SSD used only for jails, on service pool:

The sync writes is disabled. Is it recommended to turn off the compression, in order to speed up the writes? My goal is to obtain the best performance, as the space will be very little used, max 10GB.

I tried to set the pool and dataset compression to off, but the sub-directories remained set to lz4 compression.

With current CPUs datasets with compression will generally be faster than without. Plus you will profit from compressed ARC.
