I thought I'd create a VirtualBox VM for 9.3.1 on my FreeNAS box and then create a few test jails and update it to 9.10 to see what happened.
Whilst I can create the jails in the VM, I can't get any internet connectivity inside the jail to update or add packages. Checking ifconfig it looks like both the VM and jail are trying to use epair0b, rather than creating additional ones as it would directly on my FreeNAS box.
Is this a limitation of VirtualBox running on FreeNAS or is my lack of network understand the problem here. I'd created a bridged adapter when creating the VM so it assigned a IP within my existing range e.g. 192.168.168.x
