SOLVED Jail startup is VERY slow

I updated to 9.3 and since then starting up a jail takes about 10 minutes...
At bootup time the message "Mounting user-supplied file-systems" is followed by an about 10 minutes continuos hdd-usage and it is repeated for every jail. Did not see this before.

What are the hardware specs?

HP N36L MicrServer, 2x2TB HDD mirrored. Meanwhile I recreated the jails and now the problem seems to be solved...
