Jail plugin template not found

Hi, I'm a new FreeNAS user, and trying to set up my first Jail.

My problem is the configured URL for the template is http://cdn.freenas.org/9.2.0/RELEASE/x64/jails/freenas-pluginjail-9.2-RELEASE.tgz but FreeNAS gives an error when using it, and when manually checking the address on my PC I get a 404 Not Found error.

From my location (Switzerland) a ping of cdn.freenas.org results in 37.72.170.166

Am I doing some kind of n00b error, or is there a problem with the data on the repository?

That file does exist, so it sounds like a network, probably DNS, error. Try the instructions in the NOTE under Figure 9.1a at http://doc.freenas.org/index.php/Plugins#Installing_a_FreeNAS.C2.AE_PBI_Using_Plugins.

Hi dlavigne. Thanks for the reply. I wasn't doubting that the files are present for the vast majority of users, more that the repository to which I was currently being pointed may have had an error. I've seen that with the CDN of PC-BSD, where there had been a problem with the global replication.

The good news is that this evening I'm able to access the files, and have made my first jail. All good progress. For the record, my ping of cdn.freenas.org now results in 149.255.37.14
