Hello

I'm new user of this forum. Yesterday I updated my FreeNAS server to version 9.1.1 from 0.7 and there was a problem. I use FreeNAS, inter alia, to play music through the Squeezebox. I already know that in order to install the Logitech Media Server must add Jail. When I added Jail got the following message: ERROR: no interface specified and a default does not exist! Where making a mistake?

Regards

It means what it says. You have not created an interface in the GUI and set it up.

What it means interface? Network interface? What type of interface I need to create?

I think it's a bug when you upgrade from 8.3 to 9.1 with an existing config. I ran into that problem also. I set up a network interface to no avail.

I ended up starting with a clean slate of 9.1.1 install and reconfiguring it manually and plugins install just fine without needing to configure any network interface after that.
Whatever the NAS got from DHCP seems to be sufficient.
