Issues with setting up Plex server

Hi there! I am new to TrueNAS and have an issue installing the Plex plugin. I have used an excellent video on Youtube to set up my server https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=WjLaK8yQAag&t=773s

While installing the plugin, I was shown an error message below:

I have set my IPv4 Default Gateway under Network > Global Configuration to the correct default gateway:

i think there is something seriously off on your network configuration. First of all, how did you configure the network properties of the jail? Also is 192.168.1.254 really your default gateway? Network properties in the jail is where you ensure that the jail has network access, which is clearly your issue. I am unsure why you changed the default network settings.

Hi ddaenen1! Thanks for taking the time to help me here. I used my command prompt to find my default gateway. I'm not sure whether these screenshots will help:

That is simply because your server cannot connect to the internet. I suggest you put everything to default (which is basically my settings) and certainly configure your jail as DHCP ( second screenshot - my jail settings which are default) it is smarter to set the fixed IP for your jail in the router lateron rather than in TrueNAS. First try to establish internet connection to the jail. As said, i have rarely seen such an IP as default gateway. I do not know your router but mostly it is something like 192.168.0.1 or 192.168.1.1.

I've put everything to default (Both server and ISP router). I've also configured my jail as DHCP. Right now there is a new error message:

where is VNET and Berkely packet filter? are those also checked? Also, it should state DHCP autoconfigure, not just DHCP. Did you leave your gateway settings or also changed the to default?

Normally not.

Normally not. That should be picked up automatically. I suspect you have not set up your interface as DHCP. Can you please check this screen and see if DHCP is checked? If it is, the default gateway and DNS should be configured autmatically.
