Hi, i´ve a truenas server with 2x 10GB NICs. I first configured nic1 with static IP: 10.10.2.1/24 and added an iSCSI-Share to the configuration. i got a working connection from a test ESX-machine to the truenas-server share to the 10.10.2.1 target.

Now i´ve configured a bridge with members nic1, nic2 and set the ip-address to 10.10.2.1/24 (the old nic 1 has no ip address configured). but it only works on the original interface nic1. if i plug the ethernet cable to nic2, i get no connection. i alredy rebooted truenas and esx, but it won´t work. any ideas? is there a configuration to link the iscsi share directly to an interface? or what am i missing? thank you

portal configured to: 10.10.2.1 and 0.0.0.0 - no change

Best practice is to separate iSCSI and network. If you want to use both NICs for both, then give both an IP, use SMB multichannel and your iSCSI initiators should be configured for both IPs.
