after a not that much successful update of manjaro linux without having proper backups, i came to this idea and I would like to have your feedback about it.
having a PCIe to m.2 adapter equipped with 4x m.2 SSDs as a mirrored pool in freenas and a mellanox infinity band 40gbe card connected to my linux desktop pc in order to have there an iscsi boot target.
so that I can boot from the freenas m.2 SSD pool with propper speeds due to mellanox infinity band cards.
In case of something bad, I can easily rollback the snapshot from freenas gui.
will that work or just a stupid idea?
