I put a Windows 2K16 VM on my FreeNAS and I'd like to get sound when I RDP in. Any idea if this is possible?

If you enable RDP in the Windows VM and use that, which is far superior to VNC btw, then you should get sound.

You want Remote Desktop, the RD of RDP. RDP is far superior in performance of VNC anyway, so you should always be using it anyway. Thought not available on all version of Windows however.

Yeah I've RDP'd into the VM but it tells me "The audio service is not running". I don't see an audio device in the device manager either.
