Is there a HOWTO for building plugins?

Hi,
can someone that knows make an HOWTO on building PBI and FN plugins? all the PC-BSD and FN manuals on the matter are old/obsolete or not available any more.

This is changing for 11.1 (and will be much, much easier). It will also be documented in the Guide for that version: https://bugs.freenas.org/issues/20236.
