Is there a desktop nas that can run Truenas?

Hello,

I have been trying to find a desktop nas that you can buy off the shelf but that can run any os(or Truenas) on it. I know about the Truenas mini but it is a bit out of my budget. If anybody knows of a product like this it would be much appreciated. Bonus points it has its own ipmi.

2nd hand is probably better for low budgets ... these forums might review your candidates for you.

You could build something the size of the TN Mini starting with the Supermicro 721TQ-250B enclosure. Really quiet as it comes, you can still replace the single fan with a Noctua one. Pick other components as budget and capacity needs demand.
