Is the storage for a plugin mounted as a symlink?

for my Plex jail, I've mounted the volume intended for my storage pool

(/mnt/fs_a/fatglobaspace/whatever)

as the "media" subdirectory in the jail

(/mnt/fs_b/jails/plex.../media).

I've done this through the tradition gui click-click (Jails/Plex/Storage/Add Storage)

I had //expected// the volume at fs-a to appear as a symlink in the jail.

But when I ls -ld * in the jail, this doesn't appear to be the case. No "fs_b--->fs_a" type entries appear.

But I know they are linked (If I touch a file in fs_a it appears in fs_b).

Does anyone have an explanation for the apparent lack of a symlink?
