The proper way to do volume replication is to create a periodic snapshot and setup ZFS replication on the above snapshot.
Let's say I want to setup a periodic snapshot of the entire volume recursively. This I can do, however what I can't do is to implement ZFS replication of the entire volume while preventing some of the dataset from being replicated.
However there are instances when I want to do complete volume replication but there are some dataset I am not interested in replicating.
Is it possible to do automatic ZFS replication while preventing replication of the not needed datasets? Useful in keeping the entire volume structure to target smaller backup solution.
