Then you have three options:

• Tell your client to suck it up and wait for the release of 11.2
• Tell your client to use beta software, where it's already the default
• Muck about with the FreeNAS internals. I doubt you'll get any help here on that.

...or simply add three characters to the URL and bookmark it.

Does your client like BETA and unstable broken code? If no, then your client will be happy to wait. If you client likes a broken UI then you fire them.

This thread is maddening. Seriously. The OP has been handed several solutions to the question. And yet, the thread continues?

• Use the beta UI in 11.1
• If you don't like the /ui at the end of the URL, use a proxy server to change it for you
• Use beta 11.2
• Wait for 11.2 release

And none of these are acceptable (apparently). So the request is production new UI on 11.1? Answer (again) is "no."
